1. Editorial Policy

The main epigram of International Journal of Biomedical Research Science (IJBRS) is to spread scientific knowledge globally. The credibility of published articles completely depends on the effective peer reviewing process. Hence, editors are the chief support for International Journal of Biomedical Research Science. The Editorial board members of International Journal of Biomedical Research Science (IJBRS) are responsible for publishing quality manuscripts received from authors on concerned subjects.

Editor In Chief: The Editor-in-Chief is primarily the one responsible for activities conducted for the journal and maintains the right of final acceptance or rejection of manuscripts.

Managing Editors: They are associates who will assist the editor / Associate Editors in assessing the suitability of the manuscript for its scope, managing the peer review process, devising strategies for the progress of the journal, coordinating with the reviewers and board members.

Editorial  Assistants: The editorial team is made up of experienced and highly qualified researchers and faculty members of different subjects who help the management of editorial process. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Actively look for the views of associate editors, authors, readers, reviewers and editorial board members about ways of improving their journal’s content.
• Reputation of our group is enhanced by the presence of eminent editors. They also must endeavor to set higher standards for the journal whenever possible.
• Sustain initiatives to educate researchers and young scholars about publication policies and ethics.
• Editorial board members are most welcome to give their valuable suggestions for organizational progress.
• Editors can review submitted manuscripts based on their feasible time, if time does not allow reviewing the manuscript, editors can suggest other reviewers.
• Editors will look after any confidential data regarding the task. If the author has used information of certain individuals, specifically in any of his medical or scientific records, the editorial Team must look for written consent from the individual, for the record to qualify for publishing.

Editorial Independence

All editorial decisions at IJBRS are made independently and are based solely on the scientific merit, originality, clarity, and relevance of the submitted work. The journal maintains full editorial independence from sponsors, publishers, and commercial interests.

Peer Review Process

IJBRS follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness and objectivity.

• Each manuscript is initially screened by the Editorial Office for scope, originality, and ethical compliance.
• Suitable manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent expert reviewers.
• Reviewers evaluate manuscripts for scientific validity, methodological rigor, originality, ethical standards, and clarity of presentation.
• Final publication decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief or assigned Associate Editors based on reviewers’ recommendations.

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

IJBRS adheres to the ethical guidelines recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authors’ Responsibilities

• Submitted work must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
• Proper citation of sources is mandatory.
• All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the work.
• Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed.

• Manuscripts with plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification will be rejected immediately.

• Research involving human participants must have approval from an appropriate ethics committee and include informed consent.

Open Access Policy

IJBRS is an open-access journal, allowing free and immediate access to published content. Readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, and cite articles with proper attribution to the original source.

Corrections, Retractions, and Withdrawals

• Corrections are published for minor errors that do not affect the scientific content.
• Retractions are issued for serious ethical violations, plagiarism, or unreliable findings.
• All retraction notices are clearly labeled and linked to the original article.

Copyright Policy

Authors retain copyright of their published work while granting IJBRS the right to publish and distribute the article. Proper acknowledgment of the journal is required for reuse.
